Not many people have a career worthy of a television series. Chris Feistl is one of those rare people that does. As a DEA agent he was stationed in Miami, Colombia and Phoenix. He also has field experience in the Caribbean, Central and South America. His job? Take down the world’s most prolific drug traffickers. Chief among them Colombia’s Cali Cartel.

Feistl retired from the DEA after 26 years. His name might sound familiar as his story was told in season 3 of the hit Netflix series Narcos. He is portrayed by actor Michael Stahl-David. Though it was based on fact, Narcos did take some liberties here and there. Luckily, Feistl recently sat down with The Team House podcast, which is co-hosted by former Army Rangers Jack Murphy and Dave Parke.

In an hour and a half, Feistl discusses his time at the DEA and, most importantly, how he and the DEA took down the Cali Cartel.
